By Valerie Constand. Popeline and dentelle are the signature of
the 2006 lingeries fashion. Bright exotic colors and esprit libre will
dominate the allure of lingeries for the coming year. The style is
comfortable, colorful and vibrant. A very pin-up style with a lot of

GERTI
Bierenbroodspot: Europe's Most Powerful, Successful and Adventuresome Woman
Artist!
Gerti
Bierenbroodspot is a living legend in Holland and a “divine enigma” to art
historians, archaeologists and art lovers. She has visited half of the world.
Especially the old world, ancient civilizations which are her source of
inspiration. She is fond of ancient cultures and civilizations, in particular
Greece, the Island of Crete, Pompeii, Al Batra, Jordan, the old Near East,

26.ARTIST OF THE MONTH: KIKI SMITH.
By Maximillien
de Lafayette and Germaines Poitiers.. Kiki Smith is
unquestionably, one of world's leading figures in sculpture, printmaking and
possibly installation, for her art transcends the frontier of images and
icons. This woman is a walking art encyclopedia with unsurpassed talent. Ms.

and design considers her as among the most illustrious artists of
our time. She lives and exhibits in New York and around the world. This
week, she is on our list as one of the best artists of New York.

28.CHERCHEZ LA FEMME! THE ARTISTIC FEMME
AT FLORENCE BIENNALE.
By Maximillien de Lafayette.
Who said art
has to be austere? Art could be fun too. Art is a nourishing experience if
shared with others. And this is what an artist gets at the Florence
Biennale. Delight, learning, fun, exchange of ideas, exposure, recognition,
challenge, talent development, friendship and even glamour are part of the
international art competition and exhibition of the magnificent Florence
Biennale. Oui Monsieur, art is a succulent fun, when femmes fatales artists,
femmes existentialist artists, femmes provocatively talented artists, the
Nafertiti and Cleopatra type artists...

38.
MODERN WOMAN, MODERN ART.
ART IN NEW YORK IS NOT CHEAP! ARTISTS
ARE STRUGGLING! SO WHO IS MAKING THE MONEY? They are talented. They have a
style. But not a nationwide exposure. Consequently, their paintings will not
bring big time money. And this saddens me.

ISRAELI "EXOTIC GENIUSES" TAKE NEW YORK CITY BY STORM! AND THEIR "SEASONAL WHISPERS"
BOUTIQUE BECOMES THE DESTINATION OF WORLD CLASS JEWELRY DESIGN AND LOVERS'
WHISPERS. They
are not opera divas. They are not motion pictures superstars. But, believe
me, they glitter and shine one million times more and brighter than any
movie star on the face of the earth. They are in the business of "making
things glitter". They are the two queens of glitters of New York City! They
are The jewelry designers and proprietors of the legendary
Seasonal Whispers, where diamonds, gold, copper and jewelry whisper, hide
and tell stories. Two outstanding New York artists Esther Lixenberg and
Yafit Goldfarb (mother and daughter) are...

MUSIC

52.THE WORLD OF MUSIC: THE 5 STARS CDs.
By Maximillien de Lafayette.
Liesl Muller: A refined lady who
sings like a femme fatale chanteuse of "Les annees folles" and Paris
Pigale of 1930. A warm and sinfully evocative voice which brings to life
the magic, nostalgia and tender beauty of a vanished golden era of the
early days of Cabaret and Kabaret of Paris and Berlin... LET MY PEOPLE GO,
an extremely moving Jewish
socio-political statement made through lyrics and music that
capture the heart and mind with simple melodies that make the
heart sing. This is an historical musical documentation of human struggles...ROBERTO ALAGNA:
NESSUM DORMA.
French-Italian tenor Roberto Alagna delivered a world-class album of Italian
arias, including Giordano's Fedora, Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur Puccini's
Nessun dorma...NATALIE

SOFIA
LAITI: NEW FRESH BREEZE FOR AMERICAN CABARET. THE HOTTEST DIVA ON THE
BLOCK! BY RICHARD SAND. Laiti's
voice gives you this sensation: Sensuality, intelligence, comfort,
motivation." And de Lafayette goes on to say: "Critics who reviewed her recent
CD "You Don't Me" called her a jazz singer, and referred to her as a singer
who is "taking jazz into a new direction." Others wrote " Ms. Laiti has a
romantic, sensual voice, with softness of real jazz sound..." Fine! This is
very true but, not true enough! For they have missed the "class", the
"elegance", the "melodrama", the "intelligence", the " intellectual
eroticism", the "aroma of a femme fatale"

Mary
Phelps Jacob
,
Inventor of the Bra Design.
In 1913, the first modern brassiere to be awarded a patented was invented by a
New York Jewish socialite named Mary Phelps Jacob. Mary had just purchased a
sheer evening gown for one of her social events. At that time, the accepted
undergarments were corsets, stiffened with whaleback bones and steel rods. Mary
found that the "whalebone-spocked" out visibly around the plunging neckline and under the
sheer fabric, so with two silk hankerchiefs and some pink ribbon, the first
bra was invented.
64.Getting married? Count to five. Couples who make it to their fifth year of marriage are less likely to break up, figures from Statistics Canada indicate. "Before the first anniversary of marriage, there was less than one divorce for every 1,000 marriages in 2002,'' the agency said Tuesday. After the first anniversary, the divorce rate was 4.3 per 1,000 marriages. That went up to 18 per 1,000 after the second anniversary, 25 after the third and peaked at 25.7 after the fourth.
Creativity, some scientists say, may play an important role in healthy aging. The singers' average age is 80; the youngest is 65 and the oldest 96.
It's an odd medical meeting that features Rogers & Hammerstein and brilliantly coloured paintings rather than, say, X-rays. What does belting out Oklahoma or putting oil to canvas have to do with brain health? Perhaps a lot, when the singers are active 70- and 80-year-olds and the painters are in the throes of dementia. Creativity, some scientists say, may play an important role in healthy aging; conversely, the ill can shed extraordinary light on just how the brain perceives art.Teens face multiple mental-health issues, losing sleep due to stress: study. One in 10 teens is grappling with at least three mental-health issues, a finding that highlights the need for prevention strategies that address a wide range of problem behaviours, say the authors of a study released Monday. "The youth themselves are reporting psychological distress, feeling under stress, having worries, having trouble sleeping at night," said Dr. Joseph Beitchman of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
66.MI5 advised spies not to use sex.
Female spies using
sex to obtain secrets may be a staple of espionage thrillers, but it has
emerged that in reality British intelligence did not approve.
WHAT'S HAPPENING OUT THERE? Fashion
is a dog's breakfast, and don’t we know it. For madam et monsieur, le menu du
jour: Cardigans (thin and cashmere), florals (a tsunami of fresh flowery
frocks and sundry separates is breaking, as we speak, over Britain and Europe
and will build and break again over our coming spring/summer.
Woman gave birth to a child using 21-year-old frozen sperm. A British woman gave birth to a baby boy using sperm from her husband that was frozen 21 years earlier, their doctor said Tuesday. Dr. Elizabeth Pease, a consultant in reproductive medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in Manchester where the baby was born two years ago, said she believed the age of the sperm made the case a world record. Pease said the father had five vials of his sperm "cryopreserved" at the age of 17...

69.THE
WORLD OF GLAMOUR: EXTRAVAGANT FASHION, COIFFURE , MAKEUP.
By Maximillien de Lafayette. The snob neglige
style is in, once again. But, you have to temper it with a flair of panache.
Heavy lipstick definition is en vogue. And the colors are borrowed from the
rainbow of the makeup artists and maitres du maquillage. The fond de teint
is delicate. And everything blends perfectly with the light pink refreshing
the face. It is fun. Colorful and young. Just have a glance at the photos
and save yourself the headache of reading this article. Some coiffures are
in. Others are out. It does not depend on your preference. But, this is the
final esthetic decision of the maestro de la moda. You can revolt. You can
protest. But, try those colors first. They might fit your personality, but
not your persona.
JEWISH INTERNATIONAL DIVA
74.Raquel Bitton: The
International Jewish Diva of the French Music-Hall and Cabaret.
She is Edith Piaf’s soul, tears and joy, but she remains herself “The Grande Dame Raquel
Bitton” with pure individuality, distinctive style and her own Jewish persona.
Raquel Bitton is the foremost and single most important international singer
responsible for reviving the repertoire of the legendary Edith Piaf worldwide.

78.The
Shadow of Intimacy.
Bill Brandt came to London for
good at the beginning of April 1934. He wanted to be English, and
really belong to the fairy-tale island. This meant inventing a new
identity for himself, as he turned 30, but also inventing an England
that would satisfy his childhood fantasies.
Judaic Myths and Folklore
85.Shabbat Hamalka. By
Dr. Ilil Arbel. Among the goddesses representing either
the female side of
Yahweh or his consorts, such as
Asherah,
Shekhina,
Anath, and
Lilith, Shabbat Hamalka has a unique
personality and origin. Her myth strongly influenced Jewish thought, and
contributed to the strength of home and family that had improved the odds
for physical and spiritual Jewish survival. The name means Queen of the
Sabbath, and the entity is the personification of the Jewish day of rest,
Saturday. She still possesses a prominent position in Judaic mythology.
86.River Sambation. By Dr. Ilil Arbel. Legends tell that when the Temple was destroyed, and the Israelites were taken to Babylon, their captors asked them to play the instruments and sing the songs of Zion. The Israelites wept before God: "We cannot sing the sacred songs in an unclean land!" Some cut their fingers off so they could not play the treasured musical instruments. As they wept, a cloud descended from heaven. It enveloped the Israelites, their cattle, their sheep, even their tents, carried them up into the sky, and traveled with them all day.

87.Lamed Vav.
By Dr. Ilil Arbel.
The Lamed Vav are two letters in the
Hebrew alphabet. Numerically, they represent 36. Legends tell that in this
world, there always live thirty-six men who are also called Tzadikim
Nistarim, or the Hidden Just Men
Metatron. By Dr. Ilil Arbel. The myths of Metatron are extremely complicated, and at least two separate versions exist. The first version states he came into being when God created the world, and immediately assumed his many responsibilities. The second claims that he was first a human named Enoch, a pious, good man who had ascended to Heaven a few times, and eventually was transformed into a fiery angel.

92.THE
VAGINA MONOLOGUES OUTRAGE THE WORLD!!
Stars mark women's day in India. Actresses
Jane Fonda and Marisa Tomei marked International Women's Day by staging a
performance of The Vagina Monologues in India.
95.Right
now, the CIA has important, exciting jobs for US citizens, especially those
with foreign language skills. YAH RIGHT!! Alias actress Jennifer
Garner, who stars as a CIA agent in the show, is now fronting a recruitment
drive for the US spy agency. Strangely enough, our
sources tell us that CIA was very reluctant to hire expert linguists for lack
of funds. Even, when applicants were extremely qualified, hiring authorities
at the CIA turned them down. There is a strong belief that CIA would
exclusively hire those who belong to their inner circle. Politics play major
role in selecting and hiring applicants. Many qualified persons in the past
applied for linguists and languages experts jobs and were ignored.
HISTORY: AMERICAN-HAWAIIAN EXPERIENCE

96-108.History:
HOW OUR AMERICAN DEMOCRACY AND INTERESTS
CONQUERED AND ILLEGALLY ANNEXED HAWAII BY FORCE!!
The Hawaiian Islands were unknown in the west before 1778. As early as 1843
the United States asserted that it would not allow any European power to
possess Hawaii, probably after an abortive attempt by the British to annex it.
This was in accordance to the Monroe Doctrine, which established the American
colonial sphere of influence over the Western Hemisphere, in order to rival
the influence of the European powers. In the unabridged version of Webster's
New Twentieth Century Dictionary, the word "usurpation" is defined as: "The
act of usurping; the act of seizing or occupying and enjoying the place,
power, functions or property of another without right; especially the unlawful
occupation of a throne." .............
109.Hypatia
of Alexandria.
A martyr to feminine intellect.
Hypatia of
Alexandria is the earliest woman scientist whose life is well documented; she
was also the last scientist of the Golden Age of Pericles, before
enlightenment gave way to the Dark Ages. Her martyrdom has had more of an
impact on the history than her inventions, although the hydroscope itself—the
first laboratory instrument to measure the specific gravity of liquids—was a
breakthrough. Born in Alexendria in A.D. 370, Hypatia came into a rarefied
intellectual world. Her father, Theon, was a mathematician and astronomer at
the Museum at Alexandria, and Hypatia was his prize pupil.
111.GOLDA
MEIR: A Mother, a Leader and a Genius.
When the word "greatness" comes
to mind, Golda Meir comes immediately to the forefront. Her commitment to her
land and to her people was the paragon of human dedication. Her complete
involvement, tempered with love, fired by fierce devotion, caused the world to
know that she was a true mover of mountains. Though born in Kiev, Russia, she
moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her family in 1906. In 1915, she joined the
Labor Zionist Party. In 1917, she married Morris Meyerson and they moved to
Tel Aviv (then Palestine) in 1921. Later they became the proud parents of
Sarah and Menachem. Eighteen years ago today (March 7, 1969), Golda Meir was
nominated by the Labor Party to be Prime Minister of Israel. She held this
esteemed position until 1974.
